The residence is located in the city center, and it is part of a group of architectural works started by the Municipality of Milan at the end of the second world war. The complex, built in 1947-50 by architect Luigi Moretti, consists of two thirteen-floor towers and of another building called “Casa della Laureata”. The building is of particular historic and artistic interest both because of its architect’s fame and because of its particular architectural features, and it is under the protection of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Environment. Currently the building complex offers 406 single rooms (most of them with bathroom  every 2 rooms), common  kitchens on  floors and a very large common space on the ground floor with study halls and recreation areas.

How to reach the residence

From Malpensa airport:
take the Malpensa Express (www.malpensaexpress.com) to Milan Cadorna station, then take underground M1, Sesto 1° Maggio FS direction, to San Babila station, finally walk 600 meters to destination.

From Linate airport:
Take bus 73 (Aeroporto - San Babila) to San Babila stop, then walk 600 meters to destination.

From Milano Centrale Railway Station:
take underground M2, Cologno Gessate direction, to Loreto station, then take M1 line, Rho-Bisceglie direction, to San Babila station, then  walk 600 meters to destination.

From Lambrate Railway Station:
take underground M2, Abbiategrasso/Assago  direction, to Loreto station , then take M1 line, Rho-Bisceglie direction, to San Babila station, then walk 600 meters to destination

How to reach the Convention  venue from the Residence

Walk 100 meters to Largo Augusto, take the bus N. 94, Porta Volta – Minghetti direction, to Via Carducci stop then walk to destination (Largo Gemelli, 1)

Walk 600 meters to Piazza S. Babila, take underground M1 Bisceglie /Rho Fiera direction to Cadorna Station stop then take underground M2  Abbiategrasso/Assago direction to S. Ambrogio stop and  walk to destination.
