Brancaccio Palace is the last Roman Patrician Palace built in 1880 in the heart of the eternal city, Rome.
Located on Colle Oppio, the ancient roman hill of «Monte Oppio» near Emperor Nero’s, «Domus Aurea» and the seven hills, between Colosseum and the famous Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Princess Mary Elisabeth Field, american wife of Salvatore Brancaccio, in 1879 relied on architect Gaetano Koch the construcion of the palace situated in a beautiful natural old park between roman ruins, centuries old plants and fountains, mixed by vegetable essences line pine trees, palms and laurels.
In the park you can also admire the small and charming Hunting Lodge turned into a Coffee House, rich of decorations and painted by Francesco Gay, famous painter of that age and personal friend of the Prince Brancaccio.
Inside the palace you can find enchanting banquet rooms where Mary Elisabeth Field gave magnificient and sumptuous parties also in honour of the King Umberto of Savoy and Queen Margherita.
The same halls in 1969 have been competely restored and reserved for unforgettable private and public manifestations.

Meeting point at 19:30 in front of the Ergife Palace Hotel for the transfer by bus. Travelling time is approximately 30 minutes.
