Guidelines for Chairpersons and Speakers

For Chairpersons:

Locate your session room in due time
Find yourself in the room assigned for presentation at least 10 minutes before thebeginning of the session
Respect the timing allowed to the session and to each presentation
All presentations, discussions and questions must be in English

For Speakers:
Follow the instructions indicated at the paragraph Audiovisual Instructions

Audiovisual Instructions
A Preview room will be located in the congress Venue.
Presentations can be downloaded from one’s notebook at the preview room, provided that the speakers come there at least 3 hours before the presentation
Personal computers cannot be connected to the projectors in sessions’ rooms and presentations cannot be loaded directly on the computer of the sessions’ rooms.
If speakers created their presentation using a system different from MS WINDOWS (such MAC OS or Linux), we kindly request to provide presentations in a Windows compatible format and to come earlier at the Preview room, in order to have enough time to solve possible compatibility issues.
In the Preview room technicians will assist Speakers in transferring slides and make changes if needed. Slide presentations will be then uploaded to the respective sessions’ room. 

To the attention of MAC Users
If your presentation is on a MAC computer, we kindly urge you to meet with a technician in the Preview room to either make sure that your presentation will run properly on the PCs or to anticipate a backup solution.

Workshops
Workshops take place on Thursday, September 20 from 9.00 to 13.30 hrs and are open to delegates regularly registered to the congress. No registration fee is required to attend workshops.

Attendance Certificates
Attendance certificates are delivered on request to all regularly registered participants at the end of the meeting.

Exhibition and Sponsorship
A technical, pharmaceutical and publishing exhibition takes place in the Congress venue throughout the scientific works.
